All that remains of Barclosh Castle is a 6.0m long stretch of the south-east wall. It is 1.2m thick, 8.0m high and now forms part of a modern field wall. Immediately to the north-west is a large mound of boulders and masonry, but there is no trace of any other walling. At one time owned by the Kennmure Gordons.
